Price:  $20 per person

Meet:  The Old Stone House, 3031 M Street, NW

(The Old Stone House is pictured above right)

Like no other part of the city of Washington, Georgetown has always been a world unto itself, its architecture lying halfway between the stately old south of Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA and the vibrant Greek revival style of Greenwich Village.

A leisurely walk through two hundred years of history with story-telling, pictures and fun. Spend two hours with our tour guide as we go back in time...to the Camelot years of the Kennedys, to the chic parties of Kathrine Graham and Sally Quinn, to the Cold War and the Cold warriors...a world of spies, treachery, and ultimate vindication. Go back to the Civil War when Georgetown was filled with Confederate sympathizers and of African-Americans fleeing slavery just across the river. You may even turn up a ghost or two and one very famous exorcism.

This tour can be done as a private tour for family groups and other groups.  Call 703-597-6283 for more details.
